 Child Advocacy Centers Grant Program (CAC)

The purpose of this program is to provide for greater intervention among and punishment and monitoring of individuals who create a risk to our children's safety and well-being.  The following are goals of the West Virginia Child Advocacy Centers Grant Program:

  1. Ensure a comprehensive, culturally competent, multidisciplinary investigative team response to allegations of child abuse in a dedicated, child-friendly setting.
  2. Provide or facilitate mental health interventions and victim advocacy services.
